Various harnesses (Class I and II and III) options:
Gemtor (right and Left sided), Yates, Blackhawk, RIT Rescue, etc.....
All provided for free for use during the class.
Various types of anchor points:
Window-sil anchoring, remote anchoring including plumbing/pipe anchoring, door anchoring, tool anchoring,
etc....
Lets face it, we as firefighters hear of our fellow firefighters bailing head first out of structures due to many
homes and businesses...the list goes on and on.
Also included in these risks are:
*Decreasing FD Operations budgets:
*Lack of city funds for the right tools to do your job
*Reduced firefighter staffing
It is because of these dangers every day, we as professionals are forced to take immediate actions to utilize
new innovations that protect us. As always, firefighters need to train and educate themselves to get out of
these dangerous situations and identify the conditions that necessitate firefighter bailout.
Note that these rapid rescue escape systems are a LAST RESORT for any
firefighters who are in imminent danger.
Without any system, firefighters trapped will most likely suffer massive burns,
severe respiratory injuries/sufffocation, multiple fractures/trauma and death.
The knowledge and training in an escape system will get firefighters out fast.
Any firefighter bailout system should be deployable in seconds.
Additionally, this course in Firefighter Bailout is also gives all the students the hands-on opportunity to try out:

"home made system" to try out. This "hands-on" comparison in real time will give attendees a true
side-by-side comparison.
